La célébration du 10iéme anniversaire du cyberjournal vieuxbourgeois.com s'est accompagnée d'une bonne nouvelle: celle de la reconstruction de la place publique de Vieux-Bourg. En effet, la restauration de cette aire publique tant souhaitée coïncide avec la volonté que nous manisfestons tous et toutes à rechercher une ultime solution pour concrétiser ce rêve collectif: embellir notre Quartier de Vieux-Bourg d'Aquin. Poursuivant cet objectif, le 14 juin 2014, à New York, nous avions mis en vente un "Raffle" dans le but de recueillir des fonds pour financer ce projet. Cette initiave a été bien accueillie par la population vieux-bourgeoise de partout. Aujourd'hui, les billets sont à Paris, Montréal, New York, New Jersey, Boston, St Martin, Haiti, Florida et Atlanta. De plus, cet espace privilégié, réservé à la récréation et à la détente, mérite toute notre attention. Le tirage est prévu pour le 20 décembre 2014 à 12 P.M..

Nous souhaitons avoir l'appui et la solidarité de tous les gens de Vieux-Bourg et leurs amis(es) pour venir en aide à ce projet. Nous comptons aussi sur votre grande générosité. C'est pour nous une occasion de développer des relations amicales et fructueuses entre tous ceux et celles de notre communauté qui vivent dans divers pays y compris Haiti.Nous sommes à votre disposition pour vous donner plus de précisions sur les points de vente des billets et sur le déroulement du financement de ce projet. Thank you all for supporting our Campaign Finance Comity "CAVAR" for the rebuilding of Vieux-Bourg's Playground(Place la).

Javab Inc. which stands for "Journal des Associations des Vieux-Bourgeois(es) d'Aquin et Banlieues" (www.vieuxbourgeois.com) is a non-profit organization registered in the State of New York for the benefit of the people of Vieux-Bourg d'Aquin. We have been serving and informing the Vieux-Bourg community since August 2004 (2004-2014). We just celebrated the 10th anniversary of our website on June 14, 2014, and we did make a commitment that night to rebuilding Vieux-Bourg's infrastructure beginning with the reconstruction of the Playground (Place la) which is our favorite site for events like Vieux-Bourg 2014, for example.

We are for gathering in Vieux-Bourg because we think that type of activity will enhance Vieux-Bourg's visibility and development. Our goal is to built a new "Place" so we can project a better image of Vieux-Bourg in general. As a matter of fact, our team was at Vieux-Boug 2014 including myself to promote this idea of a new "Place" for public events. It is all about Vieux-Bourg's advancement and progress which we all hope for. We are for Vieux-Bourg 2014, 2015, 2016,...etc. We are looking for ways to finance the construction of the new "Place" to host properly that event and to improve Vieux-Bourg's image. We really, really need that.

Transparency is our main goal to make this project succeed. We are divorcing with the past where trust was an issue. Therefore, everyone who contributed to our campaign or who attended our June 14th celebration had received a financial statement about our activities. As our fundraiser contributors, If you want to receive your copy or our Federal Id# for your taxes, please call us or email us your name and address and that statement or that Id# will be mailed to you. Also we have chosen to work with people who have a proven record. The current mission for CAVAR which is the "Comity for the Advancement of Vieux-Bourg d'Aquin and its Regions" is to bring back faith and trust to our community. Our Comity is known for their many accomplishments such as :

1-The first Water System of Vieux-Bourg.( Nan Pecou)

Team Canada: Rodolphe, Osmer, Osner, Ketnie, Memoy, Rodny, Ernst, Tony, Stand...

2-The second Water System of Vieux-Bourg (Source Piard to Duverger), Electricity, and the Charles Pasqua Hospital of Vieux-Bourg.

Team Paris: Gesner, Anel, Germain, Essio, Yvener, Lamoute, Christlomme, Daniel, Louis, Vaner...

3- The River of Vieux-Bourg - Many efforts and contributions was made to built a watercourse to increase its depth and to divert its flow. Also the architectural design made for the new "Place" of Vieux-Bourg by two Vieux-Bourg's Engineers.
